Johann Le Guillerm
In only a few short years, Johann Le Guillerm has become one of the most notable figures in the world of new circus.
Only 33 years old, he is one of those 'stars' who maintains his originality and freshness and thereby creates a sense of desire and anticipation in his audiences.
Since 1999, the BNP Paribas Foundation has followed the career of this singular performer, at once a balance artist, manipulator of objects and creator of extraordinary machines which he subdues and transforms into the protagonists of his dreams.
His most recent piece, 'Secret', was the hit of the 2004 Festival d'Avignon and is currently on show at the Espace Chapiteaux du Parc de la Villette from 9 March to 30 April 2005.
