Whether in the field of modern dance or new circus arts, performing arts have for years been extending the possibilities open to artists searching for new audiences, whether in major theatres or smaller or more unusual or remote venues in France and abroad. The BNP Paribas Foundation provides assistance for the production, distribution and promotion of spectacles.
In furtherance of this, the Foundation supports the development of choreographers Saburo Teshigawara, Philippe Combes, Mourad Merzouki, Kitsou Dubois, Béatrice Massin (Les Fêtes Galantes Company), Abou Lagraa (Cie La Baraka) and artists working in contemporary circus such as the Cirque Ici (Johann le Guillerm), Compagnie 111 (Aurelien Bory) and Feria Musica, Martin Zimmermann et Dimitri de Perrot.
As part of its support for artists, the Foundation provides assistance for the reBonds at Albi and Art Danse Bourgogne festivals, to the Lyon's Maison de la danse and the Young Circus Talents biennial event.
